WILLARD C. SMITH, SR. was born November 24, 1939 to the late Wilman Lee
Smith and the late Ellen Washington Smith.
Of this union, Wilman (brother) who preceded him in death, was the older of

country in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged. Willard
attended Penco Tech, where he studied Air Conditioning and Commercial
Refrigeration. From this, his dream business ACRAC, of 30 years was conceived.
Will accepted Christ and was baptized at Resurrection Baptist Church, where
he sang on the choir for a brief time. In his final hour, Will asked for the 23rd Psalm to
be read, after prayer, his last word was Amen.

addition to being a self employed businessman, he was the co-writer of the novel,
"The Waymor" and the founder/producer of Philly Through My Ear (P.T.M.E.)
Recording Label.
He laid the first perfect brick for "Partners for Civic Pride" and was highly
influential to many neighborhood youth and their aspirations in life.
