On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Wayne David Duckrey departed his mortal body to claim his

heavenly home.

Wayne was born on September 19, 1945, to the late Marvin and Carrie Duckrey and was the

youngest child of seven; all who are predeceased.

Wayne grew up in Germantown and was educated in the Philadelphia School System. He

received his high school diploma from Germantown High School. He served in the United

States Air Force and received an honorable discharge. Wayne enjoyed working in the

technology industry in many areas of computer programming.

Wayne and his life partner, Jacqueline (Jackie) Calimer (deceased) would love to travel as much

as possible. They appreciated experiencing new cultures and exploring together. Both were

fond of dogs. Family was very important to Wayne, and you could count on his attendance at family events.

Wayne was also the family historian and found pleasure in sharing stories of his childhood with

his brothers and sisters. He was knowledgeable of the Duckrey family history in the education

system. Wayne leaves to cherish his memories family and friends who will miss him dearly. His quiet

and loving spirit will be remembered by all.
