"The Life of a Queen"
Veronica O'Nethea Moody, lovingly known as Ronnie, was born on October 22, 1957, in Ridgeland, South Carolina, to the late Shirley Grant and Jerry White. She peacefully departed this life on January 28, 2026.
At the age of three, Ronnie moved to Philadelphia, where she was lovingly raised by her Aunt Lelia. She was educated in the Philadelphia Catholic School System. Ronnie was deeply rooted in her faith from an early age and was baptized at Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Ronnie was married to Thomas Moody, whom she loved dearly until his passing. Though her loss was great, her unwavering love for her family gave her the strength to persevere.
Affectionately known as "Mom Mom" by many, Ronnie was a source of love, generosity, and refuge. She opened her home and her heart to anyone in need, often feeding, helping, and caring for those around her.
