TYRONE A. WILLIAMS was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 22, 1961 to the late Charles Williams and Maggie Jane Williams.

He was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. He loved sports, music, cars and dancing. He was a big kid at heart.

He picked up the Sax at an early age. From that point on he took the music world by storm. He started playing in the school band of Franklin Learning Center; then, Land Slide and other various bands along the way. The main band was Coast to Coast and playing every Sunday at Golden Star Baptist Church. He played in St. Thomas, where they did the Legends Tour. They did a Earth, Wind and Fire Tribute. If you knew Tye when he had the Sax in his hand he was coming to show up and show out.. He was funny, I called him my Silly Rabbit, but he can be a fire cracker also, but one thing he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He loved his wife, Lisa, unconditionally of 25-1/2 years and married for 7-1/2. He would go out his way to help anyone, He may fuss a little bit, but he had your back.

Tyrone accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior on November 19, 2023. it was a celebration to be made.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his father Charles; mother, Maggie Jane; brother, James; aunt, Ola May; cousin, Rupert; he leaves to mourn: his wife, Martha L. Williams; son, Tyrone Dial; daughter, Shanae; two granddaughters, Naadirah Sturgis Tylah; daughters-in-law, Shonda Dial and Latoya Sturgis; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins; childhood friend, Jesse Avant; church family, musician family, Earth Bound, Band Stand, Jazz Crew, Tellup Boys, Urband Legend, Corner Boys and Company Coast 2 Coast.

Your smile, you laugh, out talks, how we still had date nights, dancing and chasing each other through the house. We had our share of storms, but each storm we stood stronger and stronger. You gave me something you never gave anyone and that was your heart. I loved how when you would be on stage playing and you would throw kisses, sing, and make funny faces. You're my soul mate. As much as I want you here God needed you more. I told you every day I love you. I love and miss you so much. Until I see you again, rest well my angel.

My face was the last one you seen and my voice was the last you heard. I pray that gave you some peace knowing I was right by your side.

God kept giving me the strength to bring you to the alter, my proudest moment is when you went all on your own. All I remember saying was thank you Lord, and I love you.
