Thomas Leslie McGill, Jr. was born on August 13, 1946, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to Thomas L. McGill, Sr. and Dorothy Baylor. From his beginnings in the Mountain State, Thomas carried with him a sharp mind and a deep sense of justice that would come to define both his character and his calling.

He devoted the greater part of his professional life to the practice of law — a career built on advocacy, discipline, and a commitment to those he served.

Thomas passed on May 14, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind his family and friends who knew him not only as a skilled attorney but as a man of principle and presence. His life was one well and purposefully lived.

Thomas Leslie McGill, Jr. will be dearly missed and gratefully remembered.
