THOMAS MOODY JR. also known as "D" was born to the late Thomas Moody Sr. and the late Mary Jane Crawford-Moody on May 16th 1953 in Philadelphia, Pa. Thomas was educated through the Philadelphia Public School system, where he later graduated and obtained his GED.  After graduating Thomas enlisted into the services, servicing his country. Thomas then married Veronica Heller. Thomas was known for making his special barbecue sauce. When the summer time comes around you can catch Thomas on the grill. Thomas and his wife would take their weekly shopping rides to New Jersey. Thomas was also known for playing cards, he hated to lose.  To know Thomas was to love him.  The Grand-kids love to play board games with Pop-Pop. Thomas leaves to cherish his memory to: his loving and devoted wife, Veronica; six kids Latasha, Michelle, Akil, Christina, Nyeeme and Elijah; one son-in-law, Russell; five brothers, Leroy (Angela) who resides in Virginia, Hayward, Edward, Bodine (who resides in California) and Nate (who resides in New Jersey); one sister, Gloria (Wayne), one sister (who preceded him in death) Barbara; fourteen grandkids and eight great grandsons, one great granddaughter (who preceded to death) Lyric; one great aunt, Rachel; four aunts, two uncles, a host of nieces and nephews and one very special niece, who was more like a daughter, Melissa; two god-daughters, Runell and Basimah; and one Godson (who preceded him to death) Robert; three friends, who was more like his brother, Clee, Tony, Bus-C, and Charles.
