Theresa Denise Baker was born in Washington D.C. to Marlene and Charles Parker (deceased), on Friday, February 15,1957; she peacefully passed away in her Philadelphia home on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. At 64 years young, Theresa was well known for her "down to earth spirit"; her relatives will continuously reminisce about her character as a giver, daughter, sister and aunt. Theresa's education was achieved in the Public School System of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; in later years she attained her GED in Washington D.C..Subsequent to establishing her high school credentials she worked in the school system of D.C. for 15 years. Upon leisure, Theresa looked forward to hosting block parties, playing scratch-offffs, dancing, singing, taking walks, casino games and uplifting others through her comedy. Another activity that Theresa enjoyed was eating; she wasn't a selective eater, but her favorite foods were pig feet and souse meat. Friendship and familial love meant a lot to Theresa; she voluntarily adopted the role as a caregiver to her great aunt (Loretta), some of the elderly members in her community, while also looking after her mother (Marlene). Theresa possessed a total of nine siblings; she predeceased most of the siblings originating from her maternal side (Pamela and Tyrone (brother in law), Bernard and Vannett (sister in law), Gerald "Jerry" (deceased), James "Jamie" and Tresca (sister in law)) and paternal side (Wilbert (deceased), Charlene, Charles, Carlton and Latisha) of the family.Theresa leaves to mourn her dearest Aunts, Loretta (Boostie), Bernice (Neicy), Opal(Opie) and a host of cousins, family and friends. Theresa maintained a steady relationship with each sibling. However, she and Pam established a strong bond since their youth ; many people addressed Theresa by her fifirst name, but she was affffectionately referred to as "Tia" by her sister, Pam. In Spanish the name "Tia" translates to aunt; this title is one of the best roles that she contributed to the family. Her catchphrase for her nieces ( Nafeesah "Kree", Kelly, RaVonne, Danielle "Danny", Paige and Alilyah "Bootsie") was "Who loves you boo?"; throughout her years of life she also adored her host of nephews.
