Teresa Handy was born August 26, 1951, to the union of Harry and Carrie Handy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Teresa received her formal education in the Philadelphia public school system. After graduation, she started her family. Teresa departed this life on Tuesday August 17, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Harry and Carrie; her sisters, Vanita and Debbie; and brothers, Alfred, Harry, and Ronald. She leaves to cherish her memory: her two daughters, Latonya and Tyresa; two sisters, Regina and Christine; one brother, Leroy who made sure she was always taken care of; one aunt, Betty; nine grandchildren (including her special "inch worm" Wayne) and 15 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
