SHARON RENEE COLLINS was born on July 14, 1948, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Howard Collins Sr. and Dorothy Elizabeth Collins. Sharon departed this life on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

When Sharon lived in Bartram Village she was President of the tenant council. Christmas time when she was president was always amazing as she always made sure all the children who Lived in Bartram Village got presents. Sharon was certified in arts and crafts from the OIC which allowed her to teach others arts and crafts. Sharon was a gifted seamstress who could sew WITHOUT a pattern. Sharon was a committee woman in the 29th Ward Division 18. Sharon received her associates degree from Community College Of Philadelphia. After receiving her degree Sharon worked for Mommobile which serviced young mothers in the urban north Philadelphia area. During her time at Mommobile Sharon was most proud when, she was able to get young mothers to not only sign up but to also complete the smoking sensation program. Sharon worked for Mommobile until she retired.

Sharon was preceded in death by her twin boys Howard and Harvey; her daughter Kelly; brother Edwin Collins Jr.; sisters Lorraine Collins, and Victoria Collins.

Sharon leaves to mourn her son Angelo Derek; daughter Nicole Evette; daughter in-law Paige Peterson-Collins; her brother Robert Collins; her sisters Barbara Lambert, Donna Collins, Lisa and her husband Theodore Tootle; her grandchildren Erica, Tamara, Angelo, Antonio, Tiffany, Malik, Tiffany, Kyle, and Karina; her great-grandchildren; Tahirah, Khayir, Kamira, Kaden, Stori, Sa'maij, Malik, Bella, Kaliyah, Reign, Dakotah, Randi, and Ayrianna, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
