On July 1, 1986 SHANNON MCKNIGHT was born to loving parents Theresa McKnight and Troy Booker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Shannon was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system where he received his High school diploma in 2004. Shannon held numerous of jobs always in some type of construction work. Shannon love Boxing and playing football were he earned numerous of Trophies. He was known especially for his boxing skills. His favorite team was the Seattle Seahawks and Tarheels. Shannon will brighten any room just with his smile. Shannon was the life of any party. Always wanting to laugh and have a good time with family and friends. He especially loved hanging out with his cousin/Best Friend T. J. Williams. Shannon's fashion passion was a white crispy t-shirt. Later in life Shannon met Aliya who given him the most precious gift and light of his life, his son ANTHONY GUMBY. Protecting his family was important to him especially his Mom, Dad and Sister. Everyone loved Shannon from Philly to Virginia to Texas. Shannon was preceded in death by his grandmother Christine McKnight, 2 uncles Keith Booker and Andrew McKnight and one cousin, Haja Kamara. Shannon leaves to celebrate his life: his parents, Theresa McKnight and Troy Booker; son, Anthony Gumby; sister, Chantae Booker; niece, Layla Weaver; brother-in-law, Kenni Weaver; grandparents, Jeanette and Frank Booker; step-grandfather, David Franklin; seven aunts, Annette, Chandra, Ruth, Jill, Tiffney, Pam and Rhonda; two uncles Corey and John; his girlfriend, Jameelah Milbourne; god sister, Dominique Martin; and a host of cousins, great cousins and friends.
