Ronald
Harris
Mar 5, 1969 — Sep 8, 2023
RONALD HARRIS JR., was born on March 5,1969 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ronald Harris Sr. and Daisy Lucas Harris. On Friday, September 8, 2023 GOD in His divine wisdom saw that the road was getting rough and the pain too hard to bear, so HE gently closed Ronald's weary eyes and whispered, "Peace Be Still, rest now my faithful worker".
Ronald received CHRIST as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Ronald worshipped and served GOD at Mill Creek Baptist Church under Sheperd, Pastor Vernal Simms Jr.
Ronald attended Murrell Dobbins High in Philadelphia, where he graduated at the age of 16 years old. Ronald loved talking about the goodness of the LORD, and his nieces and nephews. Ronald also enjoyed sports and he loved talking about different teams and players.
Ronald worked at Mellon Bank as a bank manager from 1989 until 2001 when he left to work at the Federal Reserve. Ronald's health started to decline, and he was forced to leave the Federal Reserve.
Although Ronald didn't have any children, he loved his nieces and nephews as his own, and Ronald became a father figure to many other young people.
Ronald has gone to rest with his parent, Ronald Harris Sr. and Daisy Lucas Harris; his baby brother, Roeld "Nicky" Harris; his grandmothers, Annie Coe, and Helen Harris; his aunts, Barbara Harris and Emma Lucas; his great aunts, Rebecca Stewart and Molly Lane; his uncles, James Stewart Sr., Walter Harris, Robert Harris, Herbert Harris, Fred Harris, and Sam Reed; his cousin, Debbie Stewart until the LORD himself comes down from Heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel and with the sound of the trumpet call of GOD and the dead in Christ will rise first, and we that are still here will cherish and carry on his memory: his two sisters, Tangeka Lucas Harris and Valencia Harris; his aunts Ethel Lucas, Anna Harris, Dorothy Evans and Helen Harris Hood; his four nieces, ShaQuen, TyTisha, TyQuen, and Niemah Harris; his two nephews, Joel Cain and Omari Coe; his great nieces, Heaven Harris and Journey; his great nephews, Marcus Doe Jr. and Josuha Harris; and a host of cousins and friends.
