The Obituary

On Friday afternoon, February 16, 2024, God and His Angels called home Raymond G. McCall.

The eldest child of Lessie M. Newell and Raymond C. McCall, Raymond was born April 27th 1948.

Raymond was a Boy Scout and spent the summers vacationing with his grandparents or fishing trips with the family.

Raymond graduated from West Philadelphia High School and from there he continued his education at Lincoln Technically School for diesel auto mechanic.

On June 15th 1969 he married Hazel McCall (Moorefield) and had two daughters, Michele and Renee.

Raymond leaves to cherish his memories: sister, Loretta Garcia; brother, Harry McCall; sister-in-law, Valerie McCall; along with nieces, nephews, first and second cousins and friends will miss him dearly.

Raymond or Sonny, as everyone called him, wore many hats. But the one he loved the most was Pop-pop to he's grandkids Ebony, Christopher and Maiya and Great Pop-pop to Xavier and Josiah.
