PAUL LEWIS BROWN was born on May 3, 1929 in Belle Vernone, PA to Barbara Ross Brown and Paul Brown. He was the second born of seven children, three boys and four girls. The family moved to Monessen, PA, where the children were reared and educated. Paul graduated from Monessen High School.

Paul joined the U. S. Navy on July 9, 1948 and served until May 21, 1952 and was honorably discharged. His thirst for knowledge led him to Douglas School of Business. He studied Accounting and Business Administration, and graduated with a diploma. He continued to study. His scope of interest allowed employment in many fields. He worked for local and federal government, jobs which included: FBI, US Postal Service, Clerical work in government, Real Estate Broker and Security, to name a few.

Paul met Doris Ann and they became a pair. Their relationship blossomed and they were married August 21, 1981. They were inseparable - doing everything together. They joined St. Agatha-St. James Catholic Church, where they worked for years. They enjoyed traveling to visit family.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Brown and Barbara Ross Brown; siblings, Walter Lee Brown, Sr., Helen Brown Hughes, Sylvia Brown and Shirley Brown Lomax.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Doris Ann Brown; his children, Nina Brown and Tina Brown; grandson, Jason Herst; his siblings, Earl Brown Sr. and Henrietta Brown; sister-in-law, Delores Lippencott Brown; best friend, Lloyd Rogers. His memories will also be cherished by special family members, hosts of nieces, nephews and friends.
