Ms. Patricia "Pat" Ann Cothran, daughter of the late Clarence and Lucinda Buford was born on January 6th, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA. She attended the public schools of Philadelphia County and was a graduate of Community College of Philadelphia. At an early age she professed her faith in Jehovah and joined the Jehovah Witnesses where she was a dedicated member at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, where she served faithfully as a devoted Sister of the hall. She dedicated her life to work for the School District of Philadelphia. Where she retired in the early 2000s from being the Secretary for Morton McMichael Elementary School.

She was united in holy matrimony to David Harris, Jr. in June of 1960. This union was blessed with nine children.

As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many. Her life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She peacefully departed this life Thursday, September 18th,2025 in her home in Philadelphia, Pa. She will rejoin her sisters Francis, Ella, Eunice and her brothers Clarence Jr. and Peter, along with her son and daughter the late David III and Tammi Harris and granddaughter Brandy Harris. She will awake again in the promised new system of things.

She is survived in death by her brother Johnathan and sister Marcella, her daughters and sons Patricia, Eleanor, Marcella, Kimberly, Michelle, Michael, and Johnathan Harris, with 24 grandchildren: Bryan, Brandon, Brandie(Boog), Kimberly, Dominique, David IV, Patricia, Brian, Michael Jr., Kyania, Unique, Christian, Johnathan, Will, Gloria, Monica, Johnika, Marcus, Marcel, Valarie, Walter, Antiquon, Michael, and 36 great- grandchildren: Mahdi, C'yani, Saniya, Jaidah, Domique, Makayla, Malaysia, Makai, Zion, Joseph, Kysin, Ameenah, Ariah, Samira, Mikayla, Tristan, Madison, Spencer, Mason, Dakota, Allynn, Bradley, Immanuel with many more along with 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
