Nancy Gertrude Coleman, daughter of James Hatchell and Annie Mae Hatchell who preceded her in death. Nancy was born on November 13th, 1938, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. She came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a young girl. On her journey, Nancy attended the Philadelphia school district. She attended Pierce school, Bok High, and Girls High schools. Later, she became a seamstress, worked at Quartermaster Depot and Presidential Apartments where she later retired. Nancy accepted Paris Coleman's hand in marriage in 1979. Nancy and Paris continued their marriage until his timely departure on August 7th, 2014. Nancy leaves to mourn in her passing her five daughters Verna Dover, Elaine Davis, Patricia Williams, Melinda Williams, Cleophous Williams. Her three sons in laws Neil Dover, Brian Thomas, Derrick Williams. Her sister Christine Wise, her two twin brothers Harry and Larry Hatchell. Her sister-in-law Regina Hatchell along with nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and friends. Preceding her in death, husband Paris Coleman, sisters Sarah Hatchell & Ellen Hatchell, brother James Hatchell, granddaughter Joan Mitchell and grandson Julious Colzie.
