MICHAEL LAWRENCE FLEMING, age 54, of Philadelphia, PA departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Michael was born at the Woman's Hospital of Philadelphia on Sunday, March 22, 1970 to Jennifer M. Anderson and the late Michael Gilliam. Michael was blessed to be raised by his bonus dad, the late Eric B. Anderson, Sr.

Michael received his education in the Philadelphia school system, graduating from Job Corps. After successfully completing Job Corps, Michael entered the workforce. After working several jobs, Michael began working for UPS where he became a long-haul truck driver. He worked with UPS for 2 decades and planned to retire from there. Michael enjoyed working at UPS, where he found love and friendship among his co-workers.

Michael had a love of sports, music and bossing everyone around. He had a smile that made the ladies go crazy. Behind his adorable hazel eyes was a gentle giant. Michael enjoyed making everyone around him laugh with his jokes and silly antics. He found true love when he became a father. Michael was the true definition of a "Girl Dad", having 3 beautiful daughters that he'd do anything for. He loved being a dad so much that he tried to be everyone's dad, including but not limited to his siblings, mother and maternal grandmother.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gilliam; his dad, Eric B. Anderson Sr.; his baby brother, Eric B. Anderson Jr.; three grandmothers, Gloria Fleming, Jessie Hill and Gussie Anderson; two grandfathers, Walter Gilliam Sr. and Leon Anderson.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his mom, Jennifer Anderson; three daughters, Makiya Cintron, Najah and Amirah Fleming; one grandson, Nyeem Wilkins; one brother, Damon Anderson Sr.; two sisters, Deneka and Nasiyah Anderson; one sister-in-law, Yvonne Anderson; four nephews, Damon Jr., Eric, Devon and Zakhi Anderson; one niece, Briana Anderson; one great-nephew, six aunts, seven uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
