MARCUS D. WELLS was born to Robert Lee Wells and Eddie Lee Rush on January 22, 1965 in Brooklyn, New York.

Marcus was educated through the Philadelphia Public School System. He received his high school diploma from Glenn Mill School in 1983.

Darryo was destined to become a chef, for he was literally born in the kitchen. He had a passion for cooking. Darryo cooked for prominent persons at many of his employers. Darryo loved cooking for the family, always making it a family fun occasion for everyone. Darryo had various jobs working as a chef. His most notable employer was working for Hyons Seafood in West Philadelphia.

Darryo overall enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a big sports fan, loving the Los Angeles Oakland Raiders. You couldn't tell him nothing bad about his team. He had a warm heart and you could count on him to give good advice, many laughs and nurturing his family.

Darryo met the love of his life, Nicole Boyer at Hyons Seafood. Their declaration of marriage in union on May 4, 2002. from this union of love they raised three beautiful children, Marcus, Ericka and Amir.

Marcus was preceded in death by his uncle, Kenneth Rush and his cousin, William Rush.

He leaves to cherish in his memory: his lovely wife, Nicole Wells; three children, Marcus Pannell, Ericka Epps and Amir Wells; his mother Eddie Lee Wells; two sisters, Marcia Wells and Mechelle Wells; six grandchildren, Zahirah, Darryo, Paris, Miracle, Mi'nai and Kameren; one aunt, Blanche Harrison; four nieces, Shannon,m Renell, Malika and Shanea; one nephews, Dont'a; and a host of other relatives and friends.
