Lucretia Emily Wood, affectionately known by those who loved and knew her well: Pat; Trisha; and Frisha was born August 26th 1943. On that day our late grandmother (Edna Mae Waters) and late grandfather (Frederick Waters) gave us the most loving, kind, caring, warm hearted and absolutely perfect mother for our father - the late Byron Wood Sr. (affectionately known as Woody), the true love of her life. Through their union between the years of 1961 and 1969, seven children were born: the late Byron Wood Jr.; Nadine Wood; Denette Wood; Michelle Wood; Lavel Wood; and her beloved twins; Maurice and Marcellus Wood whom she adored so very much.

Mommy was the eldest of five siblings: her late brothers Fredderick and James Waters; her late sister Florine Walker and little brother Leon Waters and all their children. Mommy also leaves behind many grandchildren: Garry Wood and his children (Nasi, Kayla and Cayden); Little Byron; Dirrell & Shirelle; Rob & Julius; Little Lavel, Ticara, Tamara & Marquise; Mahogany, Makhi, Mayonnaise, Micaiah & Marquan; Crystal, Malisa, Little Cell, Jaquan and Little Reese; and the late Little Michelle and Pete (affectionately known as Man Man)…and a host of great grands; nieces and nephews and special friends.
