LILLIAN VIOLET WRIGHT was born  April 19, 1943, in Sharon Hill, PA to Anna Lee Victoria Brown and McKinley Fisher. She drew her last breath on February 15, 2022, at 10:10 am. She now joins in heaven her five older sisters: Mary, Oneida, Delores, Lorraine, Mildred, and one brother: McKinley. Lillian was seventy-eight years old when she departed. She believed in her own words, in quality over quantity of life. She leaves behind three daughters: Sherry Fisher, Jean Wright, and Joan Wright,  six grandchildren: Ivan Fisher, Michael Robinson, II, Yahala Fisher, Aniya Lynn, Nelson Lynn, and Sulffian Yansaneh, and eighteen great-grandchildren.  She attended public school and did well in school. Her education prepared her for the work she did in medical records at Philadelphia General Hospital, AF of L Clinic, and Penn Diagnostic. She was a hard worker and believed in giving her best. Oft time the work was fulfilling, but certainly, there were times it left a void in her life. However, at her various places of employment, she met people that became friends for many years.  In 1961, Lillian met George Fields and in July of 1963, they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Sherry Ilean. Then on May 1, 1965, she married William Wright and they bore twin girls: Jean Denise and Joan Danita. Her three daughters were her greatest accomplishments but her six grandchildren were her greatest joy. She loved nothing more than hanging out with them. The joy she felt for them extended to her great-grandchildren.  Lillian attended Sanctuary Church of the Open Door until her health declined. She participated in the choir and enjoyed singing. Lillian taught her daughters to pray and read the word for themselves. She taught them that a walk with Christ should be personal, desired and not forced.  Lillian set a standard, a blueprint for her daughters about relationships. She kept it real that most people want a lifelong love, mate, partnership, and marriage but not at any cost. She was honest and genuine about the need for human connection and touch. She taught her daughters that love should add to one's life not subtract or detract.  Lillian would say, "you can do bad all by yourself, you don't need a partner for that".  Lillian loved the arts. Some of her favorite authors included Alice Walker, Toni Morrison, Octavia E. Butler, and the list goes on. She loved music and dancing. She taught her daughters how to bop and to do ballet at home. The music that filled her home included the sounds of Roberta Flack (Do What You Gotta Do), Gladys Knight (Neither One of Us), Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Pattie Labelle, Diana Ross, Lou Rawis, Larry Graham… Family and friendships were very important to Lillian. She had life long friendships that stood the test of time, well over fifty years. They laughed a lot and talked about everything. She also valued her relationship with her family members as well. She leaves behind Cousin Wilma Jones, Julia Stewart, Barbara Watkins, and a host of friends, nieces, and nephews. However, her closest friendships were with Debbie, Doris, Lillian, Mamie, and Gloria. Lillian will now join all of her friends in heaven.  REST IN PEACE LILLIAN. JOB WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.
