KEITH ALAN JOHNSON was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 24, 1960, to V. Bernadette Johnson (née Savage) and the late Kenneth L. Johnson Sr.

Keith, who was affectionately known as Bop, in the neighborhood, was educated in the Philadelphia public school system, graduating from Lamberton High School. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he became a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. After leaving college, Keith entered the United States Air Force.

Keith started working at an early age where he got his first paper route. In addition to working his paper route before school in the mornings, Keith spent his time after school attending track practice. He was a member of the Philadelphia Jr. Pioneers track club along with his siblings Kenneth and Kathy, for a number of years. During those years he was the recipient of several awards. Keith decided to follow Christ at a young age and kept the faith throughout his life.

Keith enjoyed a number of activities. In his earlier years, he enjoyed fishing, camping, running track and playing chess. In his later years he enjoyed working out, and developed a love for weightlifting, where he won several competitions. The time that Keith most cherished, however, was doing things with his son, Douglas, who was the love of his life.

Keith leaves to cherish his memory, his son Douglas Alan Johnson; his mother, V. Bernadette Johnson; one brother, Kenneth Johnson Jr., three sisters, Karen Johnson, Kathryn Johnson, and Kimberlee Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
