Kamal Raheem "Mally" Paddy, lovingly known as "Radio" to his mother, passed away April 20, 2025, at the age of 35. Born on August 28, 1989, at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Kamal was the cherished son of Shannon Best and Samuel Paddy Jr. he was fearless from the start, Not known to many Kamal bravely battled and beat Cancer at an early age. As the eldest among his siblings, Kamal held a special place within his family. Kamal was educated in the Philadelphia school system finishing out as a graduate of Prep charter high school where he gained a love for basketball. He was later employed with Target Distribution Center and was currently enrolled in Barber school learning and working on establishing a career. Affectionately called "Mally" by many who knew him, Kamal's vibrant spirit and enduring presence left a lasting impression on all whose lives he touched. To his mother, he will always be remembered as "Radio," a nickname that carried deep affection and meaning. Kamal's life was marked by the bonds he shared with family and friends. Mally was big on family he embraced the motto F.O.E (family over everything)! His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. Kamal is and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. One of his deepest bonds was that of him and his younger brother Shawn affectionately known as "Boogie" who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his uncle Lamont Best, grandparents Samuel Paddy Sr. and Estelle Paddy.

He leaves to mourn:

His mother Shannon, father Samuel Jr., (his best friend and second mother) sister Shannea, sister Samantha & Step-brothers David and Daniel. Grandmother Arnettia, Grandfather James, Uncles: Marcus, and Anwar. Aunts: Pinky, Crystal, Samantha, and Kellee. His favorite cousin Lamirra, Nieces and nephews Shanirah, Sa'myr, Kyirah, Syfee, Royal, Masai, Denim, Nyla and a host of more aunts, cousins and friends.

Although Kamal is gone, he will live in our hearts forever and a day!
