Obituary

JUANITA PARKER was born on August 21, 1939 in Plant City, Florida and passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024 at the young age of 84. Loving daughter of the late Martha Lee and Joe Smith.

She moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1966 where she proceeded to raise her family in her beloved city and never looked back. She loved Philadelphia and would regularly show her support for both the Eagles and the Phillies. And when she wasn't supporting her local teams, you could catch her watching a tennis match.

She loved a good cup of coffee, a good recipe and an even better meal. She loved to knit and crochet and shared her many designs with a multitude of others. She collected recipes and kitchen gadgets and would share both of their creations with you if you were lucky enough to be around to receive it. Juanita was a crucial element in the lives of her grandchildren attributing to their growth and their overall bond. All of them have some of the best memories of 1311 Fitzwater, apartment 4J that are incomparable that when together they still reminisce about. Juanita worked for Marriott Hotels for over 20 years.

Death takes the body

God Takes the soul

Our minds hold the memories

Our hearts keep the love

Our faith lets us know, that this isn't the end

Because we believe that we will meet again

When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind.

Rest in Peace, Juanita,

you are loved and missed,

but never forgotten.
