Joyce M. Johnson, the daughter of the late Norman Lee Cain Sr and Augusta Cusack Cain, was born on February 20th, 1948 in Philadelphia, P.A. She was blessed with three children.

She attended West Philadelphia High School and continued her education in a two year program at Blue Field State College in Bluefield, West Virginia.

Joyce was known by her family for her upbeat and energetic spirit. She was affectionately known as Mama Joyce, Aunt Joyce, and Joycey. She served her community as a city office worker and most importantly a homemaker.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Kimberly Martin (Ben), Jimmy Johnson, Michael Johnson; two grandchildren: Safiya Rasheed, August Martin; siblings: Norman Cain Jr, Gwen Johnson, the late Stuart Allen Cain, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that she loved dearly.
