The Obituary

GREGORY E. PERRY was born on March 31, 1965, to Paul E. and Louise C. Perry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Affectionately known as Greg to his family and O. G. to his friends.

Gregory received his education in the Parochial School System in Philadelphia. While at West Catholic for Boys, he excelled as an MVP player on the football team and graduated in 1983.

In 1988, Gregory embarked on an exciting journey by enlisting in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman Specialist.

Gregory Perry met and Married Aishah Holley and from this union they were blessed with two beautiful children, Sabrina and Erika.

He also had a son named Gregory Perry, Jr. from a previous relationship.

Gregory was employed at DeBello Landscaping Company for 2o years. In his free time, he enjoyed working independently on construction, painting, roofing and other handyman jobs.

Gregory enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Gregory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Samuel J. and Mary E. Powell; his aunts, Beatrice Clement and Helen Starks; his uncles, Andrew Perry, Joseph Perry and Samuel J. Powell Jr.

Gregory leaves to mourn: his parents, Paul E. and Louise C. Perry; his children, Sabrina Perry, Erika Perry and Gregory Perry Jr.; his grandchildren, Nysir Tavares, Na'Siyah Lee and Mujahid Burton; his grandmother, Pauline Jones; and his close aunt, Celeste Allen; many cousins, loved ones and friends who are like family.
