Grace M. Thompson, was the oldest daughter of Edward and Dolores Mackey and was born on February 4, 1954 and departed this Life on Friday, December 10, 2021. Grace was educated in the Parochial School District of Philadelphia. At the age of 15, Grace met the love of her life, Michael Thompson. They united in Holy Matrimony in November 1973 and from this union they had 2 children: Michael and Cheryl Thompson. Grace was employed at a financial institution as a trainer where she later retired. After retiring, Grace enjoyed spending her summers with her grandchildren, her 2 precious fur babies, traveling and spending time with her family. Grace is proceeded in death by her mother, Dolores Mackey; her son, Michael Thompson and Mikel Carter whom she affectionally loved and mothered as her own. Grace leaves to treasure her memory: her loving husband, Michael Thompson; her father, Edward Mackey; her daughter: Cheryl Thompson; bonus daughters: Denise Garner and Teria Thompson whom she loved and affectionately mothered as her own; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grand-daughter, Audrey; 3 sisters: Rose, Beatrice, and Theresa Mackey; 1 brother, Edward Mackey; 3 sisters-in-law: Debra Scott-Smith, Denise Moore, and Cheryl Yates; her 2 fur babies: Daisy and Sasha as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
