Gloria A. Manning was born on November 26, 1947, in Centreville, Maryland, to Carroll Melvin Stanford and Annie Lee Carter. Raised with love and purpose, Gloria grew into a woman whose life was marked by a deep commitment to caring for others.

For many years, Gloria served as a Direct Support Professional at JEVS Human Services, where she dedicated herself to uplifting the lives of those in her care. Her work was not simply a profession — it was a reflection of who she was: patient, giving, and steadfast in her belief that every person deserves dignity and support.

Gloria passed from this life on February 13, 2026. She leaves behind a circle of family and friends who were enriched by her presence and will carry her warmth with them always.
