Our Beloved Brother Franklin Delano Taylor was born November 30,1955. In our family, Franklin was the third eldest brother. Our blessed mother, Delores raised her nine children to follow Jesus Christ in the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Philadelphia, Pa. Franklin had a quite pleasant personality. He did not like to argue or engage in fighting with his siblings or classmates at school which made him easy to get along with. Franklin attended William L. Sayre High School where he joined the swimming team and became an excellent swimmer. Franklin used his skills to save a man's life from drowning in a pool in Florida. Franklin obtained his Diploma at Kansas City State High School. Franklin enrolled in Penn State College, Berks College of Business and graduated December 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Business. He continued his education with Master's Degree in Science Business Administration.Franklin having an inquisitive mind enrolled in aviation school.Franklin had to log in many hours flying a single engine airplane to obtain his pilot's license. Our beloved mother was so proud of Franklin's achievements that she bought him the school's aviation jacket that he wore so proudly during the fall months. Franklin earned a CDL/ Class A Commercial Driver's License. When Franklin was not studying, he would listen to music, practice playing his bass guitar and trumpet. Franklin loved being around his siblings, cousins and friends. We all love and supported Franklin's accomplishments. Franklin was a life time learner. Franklin lived and worked in Missouri, Florida and Hawaii. He moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and worked until his health began to fail. Our beloved brother, Franklin's transition to be with the Lord on March 18, 2025. He does not have to fear or endure anymore pain. May the Lord bless his soul. Franklin leaves to cherish his memory: brothers Nathan (wife Cecilia), Alphonso (wife Brenda), Jeffery (wife Patty), Joseph; sisters Darlene (husband Gerald), Jocelyn (husband Elijah); Matriarch Aunt Serena Mordecai and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death were our beloved Mother Delores, sister Theresa, brother John.
