Felicia Ann Coles was born to the blessed union of the late Walter and Annie Lee Coles on August 1, 1960 in Philadelphia, PA. Felicia (affectionately known as "Licia") was the second youngest of five siblings and was educated in the Philadelphia public school system. Felicia graduated from John Bartram High School in 1978 and graduated from the Tracey-Warner School of Fashion Design in 1980.

At a young age, Felicia received Christ as her personal Savior at the 3rd Antioch Baptist Church and was later baptized at the Holy Trinity Church under the leadership of the late Elder Solomon Jenkins located in Philadelphia, PA. Felicia loved the lord and enjoyed singing his praise. In fact, one of Felicia's favorite songs was "Going' Up Yonder" and her favorite scripture was Isaiah 41:10.

Felicia had a kind soul and a spirit of always trying to do her best. She was extremely talented and like her late mother Annie Lee and grandmother Odessa Floyd, Felicia developed a deep passion for sewing and fashion designing. Throughout the years, Felicia put on numerous fashion shows while donating proceeds to the Sickle Cell Program at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital. Felicia also dedicated a great deal of time volunteering as a member of the Sickle Cell Patients' Committee with a goal to advocate for patients, identify program deficiencies and to assist in improving the overall level of care for patients diagnosed with the Sickle Cell Anemia disease. Felicia was also affiliated with the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Philadelphia/Delaware Valley.

Felicia, a loving mother, sister and friend departed this life on Wednesday March 1, 2023 after a long bout of ill health. In addition to her parents, Felicia was preceded in death by her two brothers; Walter Steven and Reginald Coles. She leaves to cherish her memories: her two devoted children; twins Christian and Courtney Gainey; two sisters Anita F. Stovall and Elizabeth Williams; brothers-in-law; Gary Stovall and Clayton Williams; six nieces and nephews; Hakim, Jamal, Omar, Daniel, Aliyah and Justin; great-nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

Felicia, you will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue on.
