Today we are celebrating My life

I was born on April 13th, 1964, to the late Mattie and Mitchell Bouie in Philadelphia, PA. I entered into eternal rest on February 6th, 2025 when God received me with open arms. I was educated in the Philadelphia Public school system and later I returned to school to receive my associate's degree in business accounting.

At an early age I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior and attended Enon Chapel Baptist Church. I also learned at an early age "A family that prays together stays together." Growing up I moved from church to church always knowing that I was a child of GOD. On June 18, 2017, I married the love of my life Mackie Lee Woods Jr. That was one of the happiest days of my life before our union of love was united when our son Darnell Woods was born. My son John Tracy Howard preceded me in death. I was employed by many establishments throughout my life in the customer service field. I truly knew how to make my voice shine and bring a smile to your face if you were on the other end of my line. I was truly the bomb, always wanting to turn your bad day into a good one. In 2005, I started a Nonprofit Organization in memory of my late brother Douglas McCuff which was the Douglass Community and Outreach Center. I provided food and furniture referral's and lots of other services to help the community. This was one of my greatest accomplishments. I linked with many elected officials and this gave me so much joy. In April 2014 I moved to Winter Haven, Florida to be closer to my only living Uncle and to get to know my dad's side of the family. I joined Grace Missionary Baptist Church where my Uncle James Bouie was the Pastor. I attended as much as I could after my uncle retired. The church Pastor was Leonard Burns, he gave me what I needed to go through in my rough times. In February 2019 I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. I returned to Philadelphia to get treatment and to be closer to my family. I fought a good fight, and my work here is now done. I know many of you here can share many wonderful memories of me, I was truly the life of the party and always ready to help anyone in need. Whenever you were down, I made your grey skies blue, there was never a time I didn't make you smile or share some of my wisdom being here and being me was great.

I had many names given by my family and friends Be Be, Free Free, Amina, and the one I held close to given by my husband was Black.

I leave to cherish my many wonderful memories: my children who I love very much in life and death Darnell and Megan, two stepchildren Aliya and Aya, My grandchildren Darnell, Marleigh , Candice , and My Kairo . Three brothers

Two nieces Tara Bouie who preceded me in death , and Ebony Finderson of Philadelphia , three brother in laws Nathaniel Woods, Sydney Woods, Marvin Woods, Sarah Bouie, Roxanne woods, Carrie Woods-Hall and Alexis Bowthan

My extended family in Florida Dortherea, Pastor Burns and First Lady Kathy Burns.

My play daughter Roshonna and Nikki, My Rider Tanya. My Philly Connected Sisters Donna Clayburne who processed me in death. Yvonne Martin and Stephanie Miller. My three God Daughters Mercedes, Tosha and Nyasia
