Doreen C. Shaw was born on October 11, 1976, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Matthew Covington and Janice Shaw. Doreen had a natural gift for nurturing, and she devoted much of her working life to caring for children as a Day Care Provider.
