DERRICK EUGENE BLYE  affectionately known as "Dee" was born June 17, 1999 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Derrick was the youngest child of Michelle Matthews and Richard Blye. He was educated by the Philadelphia school system.  At a very young age he was strong willed and determined. Once he made up his mind he was sure to follow through. He was active and agile in all sports.  Derrick was endearingly known to his uncles as "Rock Head". The jokester who was full of jokes. Dee would be sure to prank you, like the time he locked his uncle Mark in the basement. Anyone who knew Dee knew he would always have that infectious smile on his face. That smile would brighten up a room not to mention the most comical facial expressions and smirks on his face.  Dee's pride and joy was his son, Logan. There was nothing more meaningful to him than being a father.
