Obituary

My precious mother Christine Pearson gained her wings on July 25, 2021. Christine, affectionately known as "Tiny" was born on July 31, 1955 to the late Ernest and Jesse Mae Pearson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the oldest of 7 children. Christine was born and raised in Philadelphia. She was educated in the Philadelphia school system. Christine met the love of her life Walter Hollins and one son was born Terrance Hollins whom she devoted her life to. She raised Terrance with love and cherished her beloved son. They would travel, go on dates and just have fun. Terrance took great care of his mother until her passing.  Christine moved to Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1992. She would often visit Philadelphia for doctor appointments and spend time with family with her son by her side.  Christine worked until her health failed her and became a stay at home mom. She loved to nurture her son and all her nieces and nephews. She was also a great motivation to her six sisters. She loved to cook, shop and have  fun with family.  She was a devoted daughter to her mother until her death.  Christine was also a person that would come across as very authoritative with love. To know her is to love her.  She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Pearson, Jessie Mae Pearson her youngest sister Tracey D. Pearson.  She leaves to cherish her memory, one devoted son Terrance Hollins whom she loved dearly. Her five sisters Ernestine Pearson of Altoona, Pa, Carolyn Pearson, Patricia Watkins, Bernice Hinton, of Philadelphia, Pa, and Kia Pearson, of Buffalo, NY, four brothers-in-law, John Watkins, Bishop Kirk C. Hinton, Emzell Boozer and Derrick Brundage. One sister-in-law Cheryl Hollins of New Jersey, Two aunts Martha Gibson of Philadelphia, Pa, and Bernice Gardner, (Cicero Gardner) of Fayetteville, NC, Her lovingly sister-cousin Gail Flowers-Chavis of Delaware, Her Goddaughter Shawn Connelly-Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
