Charles Edward Rogers Jr. was born January 27th 1961 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Charles was born to the late Rosalie and Charles Rogers Sr.

Charles, who is often known as "Chuck" graduated High school in the Philadelphia public school system. For many years, Charles worked in construction, cement work, and the rewiring of street-lights. Before his illness, which had him chair-bound for a while, he loved to dance despite hard times after surgery. Charles continued playing cards, singing, and cracking jokes, calling himself Mr. Nice Guy and the Tax Collector.

Charles admitted to past mistakes and not being perfect, as he still faced daily challenges. He was proud of the man he was becoming and the new level of communication he had with God. He is gone but not forgotten. May he rest in the Lord's presence.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory: His Sister Lisa and her two Children, Shanae and Justin. His Life partner, Bernadette.

His two children, Ann Marie and his stepson, Steven. Cant forget Dee Lester who he cherished as Auntie and gave him the nickname "Pookie" Also, Charles leaves behind a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be greatly missed each and everyday.
