Obituary

Arthur C. Perry of Philadelphia, PA of the late Julius Perry and Edna Mae Perry and Widower of Rose Tucker, was born in Jacksonville, Fl on January 19,1944. He was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday April 22, 2023.

Perry as he was affectionately known, attended Stanton High School in Jacksonville, where he received his diploma. He joined the military after high school enlisting, in the U. S. Army where he served in Germany. After completing his service, he moved to Philadelphia, PA where he met Rose Tucker.

Perry worked as a roofing contractor for many years until he retired. He loved to watch westerns, old space movies, dance and jokingly karate chop his kids and grandkids. His favorite saying was "Wait a minute", "Wait a minute". He was loved by many.

Perry leaves to celebrate his life: 3 daughters Rosaliee, Ernestine and Diane (Don), 4 sons Leroy (Polly), Tyrone, Wyatt, Arthur (Lisa). 40 Grandchildren, 56 Great Grandchildren, 29 Great, Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great, Great, Great Grandchildren.; 1 Sister Dr. Shirley Bowman of Jacksonville, FL; 1 Brother Julius Perry (Sarah Perry) of Willingboro, NJ. 1 Son-in-Law Leroy Schuler, 2 Daughter-in-laws Brenda Forrest and Francill Tucker; and a host of other family and friends.

Preceded him in death; 5 daughters Marion, Gwendolyn, Darlene, Catherine, Ernestine; 3 sons Tommy, Bobby and Curtis; Sister Julia Mae Shuman.
