On Wednesday, July 12,2023, God in His infinite wisdom saw fit to call home Andrew McGraw.He went to be with the Lord at 8:30 p.m.

Andrew was born to the late Willie McGraw, Sr. and the late Mary McGraw on September 16, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.Andrew was one of eleven children. He attended the Philadelphia public school systems.He later went on to marry Katherine Gwaltney in 1969.From that union, they had two beautiful daughters.He was employed at the pharmaceutical company Merck for over 30 years.

Andrew had a passion for music, shopping for hats, sports and spending time with his family.He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.During football season, you would often see him wearing his favorite Eagles player's jersey and on his finger he would be wearing an Eagles championship ring.You would think he was one of the Eagles player's himself.He enjoyed reading the newspaper and made sure to go to the store every morning rain, sleet or snow to buy the Daily News.He loved music and would always listen to James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, The O'Jay's, Bob Marley and anything playing on his favorite radio station WDAS.Andrew had a vast collection of hats and it was very seldom you would see him without one.His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.He took several trips to Florida making special memories with his children, siblings and other close family members and friends. He was a devoted, loving and caring father and grandfather affectionately known as pop pop.Andrew was always a great provider and the perfect example of a hard worker.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Orneita Bowles, Willie McGraw, Jr., Leona Berry and Arnette Dunn.He leaves behind to cherish his memories, wife Katherine McGraw, two daughters,Taisha Jones and Kymerli McGraw, five grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Kaylin McGraw, Kaiya McGraw, Talan Jones and Kamryn McGraw, one brother, Clarence McGraw, five sisters, Carolyn Wilcox, Evelyn McGraw, Hattie McGraw, Delores McGraw and Marie McGraw, two brother in laws, Freddie Bowles and Herbert Wilcox, two sister in laws Anna McGrawand Theanita McGraw. Two aunts, Dean Tomlin and Shirley Terry. One uncle, Harold Boyd and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
