ANDREA HEATH was born on October 4, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas Heath and Geneva Bolden. Andrea was affectionately called Dre or Inie for short, and he preferred to be called that. Although his name was Andrea, most people called him Andre. Andrea was educated in the Philadelphia School System and later attended Job Corp where he studied Architecture. After completing his Job Corp program, he later received a job as a architect's assistant. He was very proud and excited about his new job, so much so that he carried a briefcase and took it with him to work every day. Andrea loved music and singing. He loved to sing in his church's choir. As a younger man, he would sing on the street corners with his friends. He had a great voice and could carry a tune. Eventually, Andrea would later serve in the military. Andrea served in the Vietnam War. Andrea was a very proud solider and often told war stories to his friends and family. After his service in Vietnam was over, he married Amanda Pittman and together they had 2 daughters, Keeva and Monique. He started to settle into family life. Andrea landed a job with the City of Philadelphia with the sanitation department. He bought a home for his family in West Philadelphia on Euclid Street. Years later he would tell the stories of living in that house and how much he loved living on Euclid Street. Andrea had a very entrepreneurial drive and decided to start his own business. He opened a clothing store called Andrea's, which was located at 43rd and Lancaster Avenue. Andrea was so proud of what he had accomplished. He wanted his children to also follow on the path of entrepreneurial ship and often expressed it to them. Later Andrea met Willie Fairey aka Billie and had 2 children with her, Andre and Tajay. Andrea loved spending time with family and friends and often would be seen walking in the neighborhood he grew-up in, with his younger brother Charles aka Spike. Andrea will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Andrea leaves to cherish his memories, his children; daughter Keeva Brodie, son in-law James Brodie, daughter Monique Ellis, son in-law Andrew Ellis aka Bishop, and son Andre Fairey. His Grandchildren; Breyuan Robinson, Sidney Brodie, Bella Ellis, Aaseem Fairey, and Amari Fairey. Great Grandson Taiyuan Tallington. His brothers; Charles Heath, Eugene Heath and his Sister, Cynthia Heath-Williams. A host of nieces and nephews including nephew Brashira Heath. Also cousins, aunts & uncles. And a long list of friends! Andrea was preceded in death by his youngest son, Tajay Fairey and wife, Brenda Heath.
